Hi, I have a Micheal Peterson original , handshaped and signed twice by mp himself once on the blank and on the laminate in 2004 , “Morning of the Earth” single fin, # 29 from Jo larkins factory at kirra. Gold Coast circa 71′.fully restored and unsprayed.
I will attach pictures and other details as requested.
My Question is what it would be worth to a collector.
Thanks
Innes McLeod

Hi Innes, Could you post some pictures of the board. Are you thinking of selling the board? Thanks Adam.

Innes,

The MP original and the question of ‘how much is it worth”? Mmmm, how long is a piece of string??? You’ve gone to the trouble of having it restored, so you must know about something about boards like this. If it’s original,If it’s in good nick, and if the signatures are genuinely M.P.’s, the board could be worth thousands of $. You’ll only ever know if you list it for sale, and see what the market will pay. Do you intend to sell it?

Hi,I am searching for a board I sold on Ebay a few years back, someone from Victoria bought it as it was picked up by a courier organised by the new owner, (lucky man). any way it was a Col Smith, Narrabeen board rounded pin tail flyer, white on the deck with a green arcing flash down both sides a blue single fin and all white underneath and 6’6″ in length. if anyone has heard of a board sounding like this board can you drop me a line.
muchly appreciated.
Cheers

I have an old board that come into my possession in the early 70s. It was well used then. It is approx 7’6″ X 19 1/2″, single fin, no fin box. no legrope plug, no stringer. It has a sticker showing Peter Drouyn Surfboards, International Surf Centre, Gold Coast Highway, Mermaid Beach. The phone number is 91931 (YEP 5 digits) Can anyone help with a possible year of manufacture or what its worth. I am thinking of restoring depending on its worth.

Hi,
I have a Gordon Woods board that appears to be about a 1966 vintage from the logo. It measures about 11 foot by way of tape measure. The board is not restored. I was wondering what value this board would be worth. I have photos that can be sent via email.
